2016 year in review

Last year has been full of adventures, travels and good times. As a wedding photographer, I can only be thankful to have been invited into my couples life and capture that moment in time for them. From shooting an elopement in Copenhagen, to a wedding on the hills of Rome or prewedding session in Sydney, I feel very blessed by this part year and can’t wait to see where the next adventures take me. But lets be real, I’ve got the travel bug since an early age and will always want to see more and follow a couple on their adventure. However, as I was going through my images, its was interesting for me to see what my eye was drown to… stillness, timeless and emotional moments. Whether shooting in idyllic location or just up in East London, approaching it all the same and capturing images that speak to me is key as well as creating artistic and raw portraits. I truly believe in finding the right balance between creative images that reflect my vision, seeing the ordinary or the beauty in what may appear banal and a good dose of human interaction and sense of humour.

So for 2017, lets cut the bullshit and focus on what matters.  For me this new year will be about drawing my creativity from being in the now, take it all in, focussing on the simple things, appreciating the mundane moments.
