This year has gone in a flash. Truly. A crazy busy year. A good crazy busy but I admit, I do have a lot of sleep to catch back. We became a family of 4. That in itself makes 2015 pretty freaking awesome. Its been challenging, exhausting, and hard: we moved house, learnt to be parents of two, managed our own business and were apart 3 days a week as my man had to travel for work. But all worth it and I would not have it any other way. All this would not have been possible without my man, his love and support. At the same time, perhaps because of all of this, perhaps because I had to learn to be more efficient, perhaps because I became a mum for a second time, I feel that I became more confident, that I trusted my “vision” (To be honest, I didn’t have the time to stop and think about it much either!).
My camera has allowed me to meet some amazing people and tell their stories, which I am very grateful for. The weddings (including a couple of celebrity weddings which I would love to share with you but I can’t) were epic and fun. I cant thank my couples enough for their trust. I have been welcomed in all these families and able to capture true moments of life and emotions. Thats what makes all of this so precious.
With every new year, we all set new goals. I want to continue capturing the relationships and emotions between people: the moments, the affection, the love, the laughs, the tears. I also want to get out of my comfort zone with new personal projects.
But before we embrace the new year, here are some of my favourite images of 2015.
